Countdown to Mums Day … Gift Ideas

Don’t panic & scream, you still have 48 hours to scramble and get something for Mum. Yeah, she’s the most important lady in our lives and deserves a super special treat. No worries, I’ve pulled together some ideas that you can quickly pop out and grab.

My mom is a rock star, literally. Well not quite literally, she is an award winning artist with legendary (lifetime achievement award) status where we grew up. In my books, that’s rock star. She has more energy & enthusiasm than anyone I know. She’s an active artist, painting nearly every day, doing special commissions and her own pieces that she shows & sells. She’s active in the community, helping to preserve the local history by giving talks and volunteering in various clubs. Plus, she’s out every night either ballroom dancing or country line dancing. I guess with FOUR daughters to chase after and encourage, she needed a lot of energy while we were growing up. She’s raised us to be strong, independent, thoughtful, curious, creative and driven women. Most importantly, she’s full of love & opinions. I love you mom, thanks for inspiring me every single day!

So with Mums Day just 48 hours away … tick tock tick tock … here are a few gift ideas. Edinburgh folk, head over to Broughton St and St Stephen St as I’m featuring a bunch of the lovely Independents we have. If you are not local, no worries, there are some high street ideas too.
